Rao Bahadur Sri. A. Veeriya Vandayar, was a philanthropist, Founder of Sri Pushpam College - Poondi and Long-standing Leader for Kallar Mahajana Sangam. He belongs to the Kallar community ( part of Mukkulathor )

Kallar Sangam

Veeriya Vandayar was born in 1899 at Poondi in Thanjavur District, Tamilnadu. In the Royal Family of Poondi.^[1] He led nationwide campaigns for upliftment of his society and economically backward people.^[1]
